Numerous persons are surprised that Josh Barnett obtained a license of the CSAC

The former American mixed martial artist Josh Barnett has got a conditional license by the California State Athletic Commission in order to fight. This person tested positive for the anabolic steroid which is well-known as “Masteron”. It was in June, 2009. His two urine samples confirmed that this fighter had taken this forbidden preparation. It was before his fight against Fedor Emelianenko which was scheduled on August 1, 2009. As a result of his positive, the fighter was pushed out of  the event and sentenced to a suspension. Thus, this fighter lost his license.
This fighter didn’t admit to intake of steroids or other related preparations intentionally. It was the second time, when this athlete confirmed that he had never administered steroids knowingly.
Several years ago this fighter tested positive for steroids too. After his participation in Las Vegas at UFC 36 in March 2002 he tested positive for metabolites of several banned substances. So, he lost his UFC Heavyweight title.
Josh Barnett was banned for a half year by the Nevada Athletic Commission. Shortly after he was sentenced to suspension he left the USA for Japan. This athlete fought there for circa 5 years. Later he returned home. During his defense this fighter blamed  a dietary supplement which was offered for sales legally. This athlete noted that he had used that supplement in 2002. It was included in the list of the controlled substances later, in 2004. This fighter confirmed that it had been legal, when he had administered it.
Certain people were wondered that the CSAC granted Barnett a license in order to fight again. This mixed martial artist has never admitted that he had taken steroids.
This mixed martial artist  stated that a suspended athlete had to talk publicly about evils of steroids in order to participate in competitions again.
Josh Barnett was able to convince the commission that he believed that steroids represented evident evil. He asked whether they ever thought that steroids were bad.
