Skip Bayless believes that Derek Jeter uses performance-enhancing drugs

The sports journalist Skip Bayless accuses Derek Jeter, a baseball star, of steroid use. He has pronounced his thoughts of criticism during the talk show “First take”.
In fact, the sports journalist doesn’t have any basis in order to suggest that Derek Jeter uses forbidden medicines. Despites this fact, the affirmations of the journalist have been spread. Before accusing Derek Jeter of doping, Skip Bayless started to criticize anti-doping system of the MLB. He stated that the MLB’s tests for performance-enhancing drugs are not advanced enough to catch those who use prohibited medications.
The journalist Skip Bayless reminded Victor Conte’s point of view connected with testosterone:epitestosterone ratio test that is utilized in the MLB. This method is not good enough to detect those that take banned medicines. Instead of this method, it is necessary to utilize another. Carbon isotope ratio is more suitable.
The ESPN2 journalist also noted that the MLB didn’t have any testing for HGH. The test for this product is performed in the MLB only once per year. But blood tests for this product should be performed more times throughout year. Under other circumstances, players may take this product and remain undetectable.
So, Skip Bayless suggests that Derek Jeter takes HGH and prohibited medicines. The sports journalist also claims that if he were a baseball player, he would apply HGH.
Thus, the ESPN2 journalist supposes that MLB players use HGH and probably other prohibited medicines without being detected by the anti-doping system.
It is quite obvious that the steroid era in baseball is not over. Professional baseball players apply different banned drugs and avoid detection. But nobody can accuse a sportsperson of steroid use, basing only on improper drug testing. It is important to focus on facts, accusing an athlete of intake of forbidden medications. Otherwise, any suspicion doesn’t have any value.
